Commended for her "lovely tone" and "beautiful, immersive sound," Jordan has been playing the piano since the age of five and composing since she was seven. She completed her Bachelor of Music in Keyboard Performance at Wayland Baptist University, where she won awards for outstanding achievement in piano performance and graduated summa cum laude.
Jordan has performed Respighi's Pines of Rome on celeste with the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra and provided music for a banquet in honor of world-renowned conductor Craig Jessop. She was also a competitor at the division round of the MTNA Young Artists competition. Jordan has taught keyboard at multiple worship camps and plays in both the English and Spanish services at her church. Her Master of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary is pending completion in December 2024.
Jordan is a certified teacher through the Royal Conservatory of Music. Her first teaching experience was in the Philippines, where she lived for three months and taught piano to girls from a local orphanage. Since then, she has enjoyed teaching students of all backgrounds from kindergarten through retirement. Her main pedagogical goal is to equip her students to learn, understand, and enjoy music independently. She is an active member of the Texas Music Teachers Association, serving as the Assistant Student Recognition Coordinator and assisting in local competitions and festivals. Jordan believes that it is never too late to learn an instrument.
