Luciana Muraira began her piano lessons at the age of 5 with a private tutor. At the age of 8 she won her first piano competition. A few years later, she entered the Fine Arts School of Music and Dance of Monterrey, becoming a pupil of the renowned Uzbek pianist Nargiza Kamilova.
She began her bachelor's program at the University of Fine Arts in Colima, studying under Duo Petrof—Anatoly Zatín and Vlada Vassilieva. Luciana later transferred to Indiana Wesleyan University, where she studied with Dr. Phoenix Park-Kim.
Beyond her academic studies, Luciana has participated in various courses and festivals, including the Festival and Academy of Music Tequila (2015 and 2016), the International Piano Festival and Master Class at the University of Nuevo León (2013), the Semper Music International Festival in Schlern, Italy, and the Petrof Fest International Piano Festival in the Czech Republic (2018).
She has also taken master classes with distinguished pianists such as Yunjie Chen, Cyprien Katsaris, Tatiana Gerasimova, Alexei Sokolov, Ksenia Nosikova, Oksana Yablonskaya, Sofia Gulyak, Luca Quiantore, Eva Maria Zuk, David Rodriguez, and Jorge Federico Osorio.
Luciana has excelled in several competitions, including the National Competition of Young Pianists Parnassos, where she won first prize in the 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 6th categories. She also earned 1st place and was awarded the ESMDM Scholarship for an international summer festival, 2nd place at the 2017 Carmel Klavier International Piano Competition, and a scholarship to study at Indiana Wesleyan University. Additionally, she won 3rd place at the Fifth National Piano Competition "Claudio Herrera" (2017) and 1st place at the Cuervo-Petrof International Piano Competition (2018).
In 2022, she was invited as a Guest Artist to perform at the Haus Der Musik Ajijic Piano Festival in Jalisco, Mexico. That same year, she attended the Art of the Piano Festival in Cincinnati, organized by renowned pianist Awadagin Pratt.
Throughout her career, Luciana has performed at prestigious venues in Monterrey, Mexico City, Colima, Jalisco, the United States, Italy, and the Czech Republic. She also made her debut with the Marina Philharmonic at the National Conservatory of Mexico City.
